Host Unlimited Domains

When you open a Web Hosting account with Patrick Internet, you are able to add as many domains to your account as you like. Each domain can have it's own true Internet identity with full FTP, Email and of course, a dedicated website.

Allowing 3rd Party Access to a Website Control Panel

You can grant FTP access to 3rd parties, buy just passing them the Control Panel log-in details to a single domain, ie. the domain name and FTP password. This means you can keep complete control of your web hosting but allow clients/associates access to certain web sites alone.

How to Grant 3rd Party Access

• Access your Control Panel and select Manage Web Hosting.
• Click on the Domain of the web hosting package that you want to grant 3rd part access to. You will now see our Web Hosting Control Panel.
• To the right, you will find the section FTP Details...Make note of the FTP password.
• Provide the Domain Name and FTP Password to the 3rd party, and pass them the URL http://cp.patrickinternet.co.uk

That's it!

They now can go directly to the Control Panel, log-in and manage the Web Hosting for that domain.

Sub Domains Explained

Sub domains allow you to have a new web address for separate areas of your website, for example you could have support.mydomain.com and point this at your mydomain.com/support/ directory. You can use sub domains in conjunction with additional FTP accounts, creating, in effect, simple hosting accounts with a sub domain and additional FTP accounts.

On each sub domain you add you also have full email capabilities, for example you could have an email box, forwarder, catch all forwarder or autoresponder on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
